Brodie Stevenson was born in the small village of Oweekeno on British Columbia’s Central Coast. After studying theatre for four years, he discovered dance through the practice of Contact Improvisation. Mr. Stevenson graduated from The School of TDT in 2007. He has recently enjoyed working with choreographers Peggy Baker, Darryl Hoskins and Sasha Ivanochko. With Throwdown Collective he recently co-created and performed BoxSet for the summer festival Dusk Dances. Mr. Stevenson has been a member of TDT since 2008, where he has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Deborah Hay, Christopher House, Felix Marchand, Alban Richard and Natasha Torres-Garner.
