Born in Lorretteville, Québec, David Houle began his training in Nova Scotia at the Coastal Dance Studio, then at l’École de Danse de Québec. From 1996 to 2004, Houle dedicated himself to Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, and in 2005 travelled and competed internationally with Canada's Track & Field Senior Team. Houle then moved to Toronto to continue his training at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. This past summer, Houle was part of the Luminato Fesival performing in The Children's Crusade, an opera written by acclaimed Canadian composer R. Murray Schafer, directed by Tim Albery. Houle is thrilled to join Toronto Dance Theatre this season.
