Born in Toronto, Kaitlin Standeven began dancing at the age of four and approached dance by way of interdisciplinary training, studying ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. After her family's move to Vancouver, she found new inspiration under the tutelage of Susie Green, performing with Visions Dance Company. Ms. Standeven further refined her craft at Ryerson University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2009. Since joining TDT in 2006, Ms. Standeven has had the privilege of working with choreographers Carol Anderson, Valerie Calam, Deborah Hay, Christopher House, Laurence Lemieux, Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh and Christoph Winkler. She has also worked independently with Typecast Dance Company and Stacey Tookey.
