Linnea Wong began dancing at an early age, taking jazz classes at Spotlight Dance Centre, a local studio in her hometown of Burnaby, British Columbia. Her interests changed to a more contemporary style of movement and, in 2001, Ms. Wong was awarded the provincial title of Senior Modern Dance Champion at Performing Arts BC, receiving a scholarship to The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Since her start with TDT during their 2005/2006 season, Ms. Wong has been fortunate to collaborate in new group works by Christopher House, Deborah Hay, Sasha Ivanochko, Felix Marchand, Andrea Nann, and a solo, the metamorphosis of the solitary female phoenix, created by Yvonne Ng.
