Created on Canada's west coast, Matthew Waldie trained at both Sinclair Academy of Performing Arts and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. On stage, he has performed works by Kate Alton, Nova Bhattacharya, D.A. Hoskins, Christopher House, Sasha Ivanochko, Brendan Jensen, Louis Laberge-Côté, Laurence Lemieux, Arabella Martin, Jorden Morris, Bruce Monk, Andrea Nann, Kathleen Rea, and Heather Schiller.
