Syreeta Hector was born in Saint John, NB. She graduated from The National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program, during which time she received her registered teaching status from The Royal Academy of Dance, and completed her Advanced 2. She was a bursary recipient for two years at The School of TDT and graduated in May 2009; she began performing that same year with TDT. In her time off Ms. Hector maintains her connections to the Maritimes, dancing with Out of Proportion Dance Theatre, and choreographing for the Imperial Theatre summer school in New Brunswick. Ms. Hector is overjoyed to be going into her third season with TDT.
