YOUR DONATIONS AT WORK
During our 2005-2006 season, we celebrated many highs, thanks to the support of our dedicated donors. With the help of your donations, we were able to:
- provide opportunities for four cutting-edge contemporary dance choreographers to showcase new work at Four at the Winch;
- work in collaboration with talented musicians to create a new full-length work, In the Boneyard, which was performed to enthusiastic sold-out audiences;
- create a new work, Timecode Break, that critic Paula Citron referred to as among "the greatest dances ever created in Canada" (The Globe and Mail, June 6, 2006)
- engage more than 800 elementary and high school students in specialized, interactive programming that underscores the company’s commitment to individual expression and engagement in a creative process;
- perform for audiences at home in Toronto, Ottawa and Atlanta, Georgia;
- provide employment and opportunities for professional growth for twelve of Canada’s most talented dancers, and two dance interns.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to Toronto Dance Theatre!
