Communicate the unique character of Canadian culture through performances in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Engage young people through our student matinées and residencies - provoking, intriguing and challenging over 1,500 students each year.

YOUR DONATIONS AT WORK

During our 2005-2006 season, we celebrated many highs, thanks to the support of our dedicated donors. With the help of your donations, we were able to:

provide opportunities for four cutting-edge contemporary dance choreographers to showcase new work at Four at the Winch;
work in collaboration with talented musicians to create a new full-length work, In the Boneyard, which was performed to enthusiastic sold-out audiences;
create a new work, Timecode Break, that critic Paula Citron referred to as among "the greatest dances ever created in Canada" (The Globe and Mail, June 6, 2006)
engage more than 800 elementary and high school students in specialized, interactive programming that underscores the company’s commitment to individual expression and engagement in a creative process;
perform for audiences at home in Toronto, Ottawa and Atlanta, Georgia;
provide employment and opportunities for professional growth for twelve of Canada’s most talented dancers, and two dance interns.
